How to get there by plane
- Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport (AGP) is one of the most important in Spain and is well connected to many European and some international cities.
- Transport from the airportFrom the airport, you can take a taxi, a bus (line A) or a train (Cercanías C1) to get to the centre of Malaga and from Malaga take a bus from Malaga to Nerja. You can also hire the Rios Shuttle service.

Nerja has no train station, so the most common option is to take the train to Malaga and then a bus or car from there to get to Nerja.

Nerja has no marina to reach by boat, however you can do so through its two nearest ports:
- Port of MalagaMalaga has a port which receives ferries and cruise ships, it is located 60km west of Nerja. From here you can get to Nerja by bus, car or taxi.
- Marina del Este marina (Almuñecar)Almuñécar has a harbour which receives smaller boats, it is located 20km west of Nerja. From here you can travel to Nerja by bus, car or taxi.
