How to get to Mijas

To get to Mijas, you have several options depending on your location and transport preferences, here is how to get to Mijas:

  • Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport (AGP) is the closest airport to Mijas and the journey time from the airport to Mijas is approximately 30 minutes.
  • Transport from the airportFrom the airport, you can take a taxi, an intercity bus from the airport to Fuengirola and then connection to Mijas or a train (Cercanías C1) to get to the centre of Fuengirola and then bus to Mijas. You can also hire the Rios Shuttle service

From Fuengirola, take a bus or taxi to Mijas (journey time approximately 20 minutes).

  • If you are arriving from Malaga, take the line M-112 (Málaga - Mijas) or M-121 (Fuengirola - Mijas Pueblo). The journey takes about 1 hour. 
  • If you are arriving from Fuengirola, take the line M-122 (Fuengirola - Mijas Pueblo). With a duration of approximately 20 minutes.
