Everything was perfect, and the Rock tour highly recommended. Without Rock tour included, we would not be able to see everything, the only remark is the free time. Although we were supposed to be in Gibraltar for 5 hours, we lost almost 40 minutes waiting to get on the minibus to start the tour. So, instead of 5 hours, we had 4 hours and 20 minutes.

Alex is a very calm, polite and knowledgeable guide, thank you. The guide who accompanied us to the Rock was also very competent, but I don't remember his name.

I took the tour to Gibraltar - at your own pace; tour through Get Your Guide portal which was conducted by Vistanddo.com. Alex was an amazing guide and David a very experienced driver. Alex's sense of humour and his wonderful anecdotes along the route with practical tips were wonderful.I walked to the Botanical Gardens, across to The Rock Hotel and up to the highest point on the Rock - the OHara Battery. I did not take the cable car or the minibus. The walk is extremely tough and on the way up I took the nature trail with Mediterranean steps and on the way down I took the castle steps. ONLY IF YOU ARE IN EXCELLENT PHYSICAL AND MENTAL SHAPE. I was able to visit all the sights with the minimum cost of 18 pounds, i.e. the compulsory entrance to the Gibraltar nature reserve. I was able to visit all the sights including the Rock of Hercules, the WWII tunnels, the Siege of Gibraltar Museum, the Military Heritage Museum, St Michael's Cave with the Awakening experience, a sound and light show, and lots of Gibraltar monkeys (actually macaques) for company. The views and history are breathtaking and the walk up is certainly an achievement. Total walking time was 4 hours both ways. We spent an hour on Main Street having a leisurely lunch. Border control in both directions was easy. Let's go for it.
