This street ends in the beautiful Plaza de Santo Cristo where the Ermita del Santo Cristo de la Vera Cruz is located.

The Alcazaba and the walls of Marbella

Built between the 11th and 12th centuries, the ruins of this castle are one of the most important buildings preserved in Marbella since the Muslim civilisation and it was declared a Bien de Interés Cultural for its good state of preservation. Located in the Plaza de la Iglesia, is one of the most important buildings in the city of Marbella, the Iglesia Mayor de Santa María de la Encarnación, built at the beginning of the 18th century. after the reconquest by the Catholic Monarchs where the Great Mosque was located. It has three naves in baroque style and its main façade is characterised by its red stone in Rococo style.
