Adventure Package: Caminito del Rey and Rock Climbing in El Chorro

Discover a complete experience by combining a visit to the Caminito del Rey with a climbing activity in El Chorro, one of Europe’s top destinations.

Enjoy an adventure-filled day exploring two of El Chorro’s highlights: the impressive Caminito del Rey and an experience of rock climbing in an exceptional setting. The day begins at the reception of Hotel-Restaurante La Garganta, where you will meet the guide, who will arrange your official Caminito del Rey tickets. After a brief introduction, the group will take the included outward shuttle bus from the southern entrance to the northern entrance in Ardales, where the route begins. The adventure begins: more than 3 kilometres of walkways which in places are barely a metre wide, suspended above the impressive cliffs of the Gaitanes Gorge. The highlight comes when you cross the suspension bridge which links the two sides of the gorge, an unforgettable stretch that will test your head for heights while offering one of the most impressive views of the El Chorro reservoir. The route ends at the Caminito del Rey picnic area at the southern entrance, just 200 metres from the meeting point, where you can relax and recharge before the next activity. After the walk, we continue with a climbing activity tailored to your level, where you will learn to use the equipment and progress up the rock safely. A perfect day combining nature, adventure and learning, ideal both for beginners and for those seeking a different climbing experience in El Chorro. *The order of the activities accompanying the Caminito del Rey walk may vary depending on the admission time.
