Stop in Lucerne seemed pointless, very far from the motorway, 10 minutes walk for a 20 minute break and then 10 minutes back to the bus...we made the return journey without stops very well...that 45+ minutes would have been better spent in Cordoba in my opinion.we got off very close to the city centre, good comments from Sara during the journey. Our tour of the Jewish quarter and the mosque had too much detail... and sorry, but having everything told twice in English and Spanish took too long. It was very thorough, and some would like the detail, in retrospect, we could have done ourselves.
It would be great to have a guided tour in Cordoba only in English, not so much in English as in Spanish, the tour was longer but with less details and less free time in the city (2h instead of 3h). Monika was very kind and careful on the way.
We had a great time with Jorge, and appreciated both the quality and quantity of the information we received. Many thanks to our driver Juan as well, he ensured a smooth trip. Very well organised (map, clear instructions...)The guides knew a lot but they didn't bore us. Loved the day.Only one recommendation. Give the option for visitors to spend time on their own in the cathedral (maybe pick up headphones at the cathedral).but overall it was a fantastic day.
The meeting point in Malaga could be clearer. There are no signs and it was not in front of the caixa bank and the bus was not labelled.
We started half an hour later than planned, but the tour operator informed us by phone what we appreciated very much. Guide Carlos in the bus was very helpful, informative and organized. He and the driver were the best part of the tour.
In Cordoba they splitted and swapped to 4 different guides. Headphones were not working in the first place and it took time to get spare headphones. Information from the guides were too much detail about small things. We did not see much, but the narration took way to long. Thetefore in the Mosque we left the group.
On our way back to Malaga we stopped at Lucena but the church was already closed. The stop did not make much sense.
Do the sightseeing on your own, dont book the guides!
Very good trip. Very good local guide in Cordoba. What I would change is the timetable: free time before visiting the mosque. Why? Because if you want to visit the garden of the Alcazar they let people in until 2pm and the visit to the mosque ends around that time, so there is no chance to see it.
