The Desfiladero del Tajo de Ronda is located in the city of Ronda.The village, 100km from the centre of Malaga, is situated in the region of the Serrania de Ronda, on a plateau cut by the deep canyon of the river Guadalevin.

The tickets to visit the Camino through the gorge of the Tajo de Ronda have a price of 5 euros. They are available in the official website with a purchase limit of 4 tickets per transaction.

Just like the Caminito del Rey, children under 8 years of age are not allowed to participate in this activity.. Children over the age of 8 must bring their original ID card or family book to prove their age and must be accompanied by an adult. 

On the other hand, Ronda residents will not need to make a reservation and will be able to access free of charge. by presenting your identity document.

Currently, a maximum of 30 people per hour is allowed to ensure safety and avoid crowds.This gives visitors the opportunity to enjoy the views and obtain information via QR codes along the route.

Timetables vary according to the season:

  • In winter, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily
  • In spring and autumn, from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 20:00 every day.
  • In summer, from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 18:00 to 21:00 every day.

The first phase of the Desfiladero de Ronda path runs along a 250-metre footbridge three metres above the river Guadelvín.This suspended path, clinging to the rock and modelled in the image of the Caminito del Rey, offers breathtaking views of the Hoya del Tajo, as well as of the pools and waterfalls of the Guadalevín and the three bridges that cross it: the New Bridge, the Roman Bridge and the Old Bridge, from a unique and never-before-seen vantage point.
