The Town Council usually announces the dates, slogan and poster in February, to coincide with FITUR, so it is worth checking the official website pridetorremolinos.es. The 2026 event took place from 26 May to 6 June.

How many people go to Torremolinos Pride?

Around 30,000 people every year, according to the municipal tourist office, making it the Costa del Sol’s greatest source of pride and one of the leading events of its kind in Spain. The 2026 parade featured 23 floats and 13 LGBTIQ+ organisations parading through the town centre.

Where does it take place and how much does it cost?

The bulk of the programme is centred on La Nogalera, the heart of the city’s LGBTIQ+ scene, along with Plaza Costa del Sol, the Pablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Centre and the beach. The concerts are free, as are most of the cultural and sporting activities on the programme.

What time does the march start?

The pattern is the same every year: people gather at the Town Hall, in Plaza Blas Infante, in the middle of the afternoon, and set off an hour later for the Pablo Ruiz Picasso Cultural Centre, where the manifesto is read out. In 2026, the gathering took place at 5.00 pm and the procession set off at 6.00 pm. It’s a good idea to get there early to secure a spot, as the pavements fill up quickly.

What other activities are there apart from the concerts?

Far more than people usually realise: LGBTI films, book launches, exhibitions and choir gatherings; sport, including the beach volleyball tournament, the Rainbow Bike cycle tour and the high-heel race; and family-friendly activities such as Family Diversity Day and the Proud Pets competition.

How do I get to Torremolinos for Pride?

The most convenient option is the local train, which connects the town with Málaga city centre and the airport in just a few minutes and drops you off in the centre. During the demonstration, streets are closed to traffic, so travelling by car is quite a hassle.
